Dear Neighbor:
I am delighted and excited to have the opportunity to represent you in Richmond by running for the 59th District seat in the Virginia House of Delegates. I am running because my many years of public service to our area has given me the knowledge and experience to fight for the things that matter to us here at home. State government should be working for all of us and our families, not just for the privileged and powerful.
As your representative, I will focus on:
- The Economy – Promoting new business and growing existing businesses; supporting our farmers; advocating for meaningful jobs so our families can participate in the American dream.
- Education – Being a champion for our students and our teachers at all levels. Every child should be ready to start school, experience an excellent education and be encouraged to further their schooling—vocational, technical or academic.
- Health Care – Preserving Medicare to protect our seniors and advocating for accessible and affordable health care for all.
- The Environment – Promoting alternative energy resources (solar, wind and bio-fuels) and protecting our precious rural heritage to ensure a healthy and prosperous future for our children and grandchildren.
I believe my proven ability to work well and respectfully with others is sorely needed in Richmond. I ask for the opportunity to serve you and for your vote on November 8th.
